Parrots usually do not amount to low temperatures but most moved the heated indoor aviaries now.
For this reason the great residence outdoor aviary of Parrots Park was evacuated a few days ago and the feathered residents moved into interior. "Macaws amazingly have generally fewer problems with the low temperature," says Heike Mundt from practice. Therefore, there are some macaw pairs in the heated residential areas. Only cockatoos and amazons now sit on the upper floors of Parrots Park. It is also the "program" on the webcams "residence", "Aviary 1" and "Aviary 5" being somewhat sparse. More macaws are to see on camera "Centerview", where several pairs that stay over the cold period. "Once the temperatures will rise again over the frost limit the animals will immediately go back into their preferred major foreign flight aviaries", the parrot expert Heike Mundt assures.
