For the last parrot practical training before the summer recess in mid-July, the veterans met with their birds in the Parrot Park Bochum. In the aviary were training the doyen of the training "Mowgli", "Flipsi" and "Paul". As a new training partner, we were allowed to Gelbbrustaras "Lenny" and "Lara" welcome. The holders had already practiced at home with the vigorous young macaws and could enter directly into the recall exercise. Before long, both reacted to the macaw call their holder and use the entire aviary in order to let off properly.

Mowgli was so impressed by so much momentum that he had time to late morning, and then also to demonstrate his flying skills. Flipsi quickly showed the macaws, are as spirited little ladies and Amazon could be the size of their group members do not shy away, while Paul looked at the lively doings from a safe distance ....

Welcome to the morning group recently established the galah little girl "Kiki" and the young female cockatoo hybrid "Nikka" were. To ease the newcomers into the group and provide training to the young birds, a bird expert training to the side, small cockatoos were working with "Sophie" and "Milou" in an aviary. Milou showed his best side, and climbed nimbly down to exercise his command tree.

Bustling Blue-fronted Amazon Girl "Finja" worked on the command "Wait", a practice that was difficult for both training partners clearly. Who could resist such a charming creature, full of joy when it flies come from? Of course Finja was always greeted affectionately, even if they can not wait. Sophie Kiki demonstrated how to keep a completely landscaped aviary orientation. The young gray parrot lady obviously enjoyed her governess to attract through the branches.

The introverted gray parrot "Napoleon" needed in this exercise session significantly less time to concentrate on his exercises. It forms a solid unit with its holder and clearly enjoys it, if it has only eyes and ears for his gray parrots: Pure teamwork!
